Jessica and Nate
An avid Cardinals fan
growing up in Joplin,
Busch Stadium was the
perfect setting for Nate's
wedding to Jessica in April
2007.  Even more ideal,
being one of the first
couples to marry at the new
stadium after the Cardinals
2006 World Series win.
Jessica and Nate came to me with a variety of challenges in
planning their wedding.  Nate was stationed on submarine
duty in the Navy in South Carolina.
Jessica was in the process of moving from her home in Washington State to join Nate.  They
wanted a Busch Stadium wedding in April 2007.  The Cardinals organization could only guarantee
a date sometime in early December once the 2007 schedule was announced and they would know
when the team would be out of town so the stadium would be available for the wedding.
Hotel and transportation arrangements would have to
be made for the 70 guests, all of whom would be
coming from out of town.

And, since the two families were coming from around
the country, the couple wanted to plan four days of
activities for everyone.
The ceremony began with the
groom and his party taking the field
from the visitor's dug out and the
bride and her party from the
Cardinals' dugout.  Each couple
met at the pitcher's mound and
proceeded to home plate for the
ceremony.  After an exciting
ceremony, the wedding party had a
ball posing for photos all over the
stadium.  The groom even ran the
bases and went for a long ball at
the wall.  And the couple spent
their first moments as husband
and wife in the Cardinals' dugout.
Truly the perfect wedding
experience for these die-hard fans.
During the field photo session, guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the elegant Cardinals
Club.   Then the wedding party joined guests for dinner and dancing into the night.
